Paola Caronni

Paola Caronni hails from Italy and has been living in Asia since 1995. She resides now in Hong Kong, where she works as a translator and tutor of Italian language and is involved with charitable work. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Hong Kong and an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Milan. Paola’s poems have been included in various printed poetry collections – ‘Desde Hong Kong: Poets in Conversation with Octavio Paz’, ‘Quixotica: Poems East of La Mancha’, ‘Mingled Voices’ (2,3 and the upcoming 4) – and published in ‘Voice and Verse Poetry Magazine’, ‘Cha, an Asian Literary Journal’, ‘New Asian Writing’. Her fiction appeared on the ‘PEN Hong Kong’ website. Paola is a very active poet in the local Hong Kong scene. She regularly attends poetry gatherings, co-organises special poetry nights, and takes part in literary readings.
