Valera Kim is an ethnic Korean, was born and raised in Russia, and is a student at Cairn University in suburban Philadelphia. An aspiring language teacher and translator, she is a proud owner of a Lancaster native poodle and a Moscowian Siberian cat, who is always, always learning.
